Season Tickets for the Bay Area Youth Singers 10th Anniversary Season Concert Series

Update: Season tickets are no longer for sale (10/31/17)

The beautiful and acoustically spectacular Villa de Matel in Houston is the site for the 10th Anniversary Christmas Concert, presented by the Bay Area Youth Singers. Located in a park-like setting off Lawndale and Wayside Drive in Southeast Houston, the Villa de Matel is the mother house for the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word. The chapel is open to the public only a few times each year, and the Bay Area Youth Singers are honored to present a Christmas concert in the Chapel of the Villa at 3 p.m. Saturday, December 3. The 40-voice children-and-youth choir will be joined by harp, flute, chimes, and organ in “Hear the Angels Sing.”

The 10th Anniversary Celebration Concert will feature both the Bay Area Youth Singers and the adult community choir that helped found BAYS, the Bay Area Chorus. They will be led by singer, song leader, composer, and choral director Nick Page in “The Power of Song.” Clear Lake Presbyterian Church provides a beautiful venue for the celebratory concert with piano and bluegrass band joining the 120 children, youth, and adult singers. A gala reception follows the concert.

BAYS’ annual Dessert & a Song gala offers “A Grand Night for Singing,” 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, in the fellowship hall of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. This evening of solo and choral singing also features lively choreography, costumes, and delectable desserts!

The “Spring Sing” will be presented in the chapel of Pasadena First United Methodist Church with organ, piano, and other instrumental accompaniment. The music ranges from classical to contemporary and offers songs of many languages and cultures.

The package of season tickets is $55 for adults and $25 for students (of any age). Season tickets may be ordered via this website, and will be mailed to purchasers. Individual tickets may also be purchased online; tickets purchased at the door incur an additional $5 charge.
