The first Brenda Varvoutis memorial scholarships for singers pursuing college degrees in choral music education will be presented at the July 19 BAYS Pre-TCDA concert. The three recipients are graduates of South Houston High School in the Pasadena ISD where Mrs. Varvoutis served as choir director for many years.

The board of directors of the Bay Area Youth Singers named Mrs. Nicole Daniel Artistic Director for the organization at their June, 2021 meeting.
